Details

The entry fee is $1,500. The minimum investment amount is $15, or 1% of the entry fee. So for example, if you invest $15 and I end up winning $2,000 then you will get $20 ($15 from your original investment plus $5 profit). But if I get lucky and win 1st or 2nd place (each guaranteed at least $1 Million), then you would make at least $10,000 for your $15 investment. Of course I could bust out and not cash at all.

Payouts

Any winnings of $5,000 or more are subject to taxes. Before paying out, you will need to provide me a signed W-9 form with your name, address, social security number, or tax id number. You can find the form here:

Then early next year you’ll receive a 1099-MISC noting the income. If you are not willing to provide this information then I will withhold 30% of your share for taxes.

Any awards (trophies, bracelets, etc.) won from the event solely belong to me.
