Thanks in advance for your consideration.
I’m selling pieces of my 2016 Vegas trip at a 1.22 markup rate. Up to 50% of the package is for sale.
The mark-up goes towards covering my entry fees and a portion of my hotel and transportation expenses (*In exchange for 1% of my winnings you’re paying for 1% of my entry fees and expenses).
Non-tournament related expenses like food & beverages, gambling, recreation, souvenirs, etc. are paid for 100% by myself.
Tournaments that I do not play will be refunded 100% of entry fees plus the markup.
I will arrive in Vegas on May 30th and be there for 11 days. I plan on playing the $565 WSOP Colossus (two bullets) which will draw in excess of 22,000 entrants and pay a guaranteed $1,000,000 for first place.
This tournament has six starting flights (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, & 2f ). I plan on playing in Flight 2a and (if necessary) Flight 2c. The survivors from the starting flights will reconvene on June 5th for Day 2. Days 3, 4, & 5 will be on June 6th, 7th, & 8th.
I’ll also play in the WSOP’s “deep stack” daily events, the Golden Nugget’s “Grand” series, Binion’s ”Classic” series, and other events as time allows.
I’ve been playing poker for many years including over 15 years of tournament poker. Before Black Friday I played mostly online at Pokerstars. Among my online accomplishments was winning an $11 rebuy tournament in 2006 that had 1388 entrants and paid $13,664 for 1st place.
In 2007 I won a $12,500 package to the 2007 Main Event in Las Vegas. The tournament had a buy-in of 1000 frequent player points (FPP’s) and had 539 entrants. The tournament was winner take all, with first place getting the $12,500 package and second place getting nothing. When we got to heads up play, my opponent and I made a gentlemen’s agreement that the winner would transfer $1000 to the loser.
After winning, I was glad to transfer $1000 to him and I immediately got $10,000 transferred to my Pokerstars account. I then got an additional $1000 in my account after I registered in the Main Event as well as a backpack, clothing, souvenirs, logo patches, etc, from Pokerstars valued at $500.
According to OfficialPokerRankings.com I played 2796 tournaments between 2007 and 2011, cashing in 466 of them (17%) and cashed for over $49,000 (not counting my WSOP package). Coupled with pre-2007 results, my total was well over $90,000 in a relatively small sample size.
My hendonmob.com results show over $57,000 in live cashes including:
1st place in a $230 HPT Seniors event for $8,670
3rd place in a $365 WSOP-C event for $21,649
14th place in a $1650 HPT Main Event for $7,802
5th place in a $340 WSOP-C Seniors event for $3,566
For the purpose of bankroll management, I have been selling pieces of my tournament buy-ins to friends and family for many years (for instance, when I won the $12,500 Main Event package I sold 90% of myself). I’m hoping to continue that strategy here on TastyStakes.
Thanks again for your consideration.
Good luck us!
