Seattle cash game and tourney grind for last week of July and through August.
I took a break from poker in 2012, due to my better half being diagnosed with cancer whilst being pregnant early in 2012.
You need to be in a good space mentally whilst playing poker, I wasn’t for obvious reasons. I needed to be with my family instead so I quit playing full time all together.
My better half has healed from her cancer (knock on wood). Life stresses have subsided and so I recently started playing part time again on weekends within the Seattle area. I took down two tiny daily tourneys in the past few month, one at Tulalip (Seattle) and one at Binions (Las Vegas) and also managed to cash in the Colossus at the WSOP. Even though I had these small wins, I don’t have a poker bankroll anymore which can sustain the variance for me to play the games I would like to play and which I feel I have an edge in if I am rolled for the games. Tastystakes helped keeping track of my investors funds much easier.
I’m looking forward to building up my bankroll with the help of investors and my profitable play.
Here is a link to my first two packages this summer:
http://tastystakes.com/packages/las-vegas-2015-par…
http://tastystakes.com/packages/wsop-pot-limit-hol…As you will notice I didnt make a profit from tourneys yet, but have recouped some losses in cash games.
This will be my fourth package as my third package for the main event at the WSOP never materialized.
There are a total of 8/10 events for a total of $2,650 in buy ins for this package. I have not included buyins for events 9 thru 15 as they are potential subsitute events for events I dont compete in 1 thru 8.
When a tournament has a re-entry possibility, you will notice that I budget double the buy-in value. Unused re-entries will be substituted with other events, not rebated.
Investors who have been with me for previous packages get first dibs on the package, then it will be open to all other potential investors. The minimum piece is .5% at $13.25 . There is no markup or airfare, accommodation and car hire/ taxi costs as this is all local.
The only way to do this is to list all of the possible events that I MAY play and then give a rebate on the pieces for events not played. So if you buy 1% and I only play $2k worth of events you still have 1% of the events and you will get back a rebate on the events I don’t play and don’t substitute with other events.
In reality it is impossible to play in all of these events since many overlap. In the event that I do not play in any events 1 thru 8 then I will try substitute with events 9 thru 15.
Come sweat me on twitter or my private facebook group (investors only).
If you use paypal please make sure it says a ‘gift’ and dont mention ‘poker’ or ‘gambling’ in the description.
Payouts are subject to USA tax laws.
In order to see and track your investment within a package, you need to register a profile on Tastystakes. As soon as you have done that you can go into the package and book a piece.
Peace
Shuff
